NO COMPUTER–NO PROBLEM Spend 20 minutes a day on each of these activities: ⧫ Reading ⧫ Writing about reading ⧫ Doing Math ⧫⧫ Writing vocabulary words  ⧫Family Routines ⧫ ⧫ Write 5 sight words ⧫ Taking care of and drawing your plant ⧫ Exercising ⧫Talking with one another!

Monday	Cesar Chavez Holiday-No School
Tuesday	Math, Reading, and Comprehension ·       Listen/watch the story Inch by Inch by Leo Lionni on google classroom. ·       Make an inchworm - see video ·       Complete the measure and compare project about the the story also on google classroom. OR Read a story of your choice at home. Ask your child to retell the story. Have your child draw a picture of a story. Count the people or animals in the story. Have your child identify if there are more animals or people in the story and write your answers on the drawing.
Wednesday	Click here for a Social Story  about the Corona-Virus- Kid Friendly.  ·       Draw a picture of the ways we can stay safe. ·       Provide basic information and reassure your child we are going to follow the Shelter in Place and we will be okay. ·       . Discussion: Now that we know school is not resuming this school year- talk to your child about it. ·       Write/Draw: What are your questions? How can we make it better?.
Thursday	·       Phonics: Click here to watch a video on the letter sounds of the alphabet. Practice saying the letter sounds.  ·       Write the letters of the alphabet in upper and lower case ·       Practice saying the sounds of the alphabet ·       Vocabulary: Click here to play a video on sight words. Practice reading and writing 5 sight words a day.
